SlingStudio Capture: A Wireless Camera App for SlingStudio Production
SlingStudio Capture is an Android app that enables users to operate their Android phone as a wireless camera for SlingStudio production. This app is perfect for video applications such as sports, schools, houses of worship, distance learning, corporate events, weddings, video blogging, and broadcast TV. The app is free to use, but SlingStudio hardware and a supported iPad with the SlingStudio Console app are required to operate the app.
It is worth noting that the SlingStudio app is designed to be used only in the United States, and performance is not guaranteed in other countries. Additionally, the SlingStudio Capture app can only be downloaded using a Google account based in the United States. The app is recommended for Android 6.0 Marshmallow and above. The Capture app wirelessly sends up to 1080p video from your Android phone’s camera to SlingStudio and supports the native flash on your Android phone, the front and rear cameras, auto/manual brightness and focus controls, zoom controls, and manual locks for brightness, focus, and zoom.
